Area Quest Objectives

Added a new Area Quest Objectives layer that shows where each errand is actually completed, not just the NPC who hands it out. If you could never track down the target, like the lost sheep, the marker now points you right to it.

Errands now tell you what unlocks them

Each errand tooltip now explains why it may not be available yet. Some only start after you clear a specific story quest, and some only appear while a certain monster or field boss is alive. The tooltip says which, and links straight to that boss on the map or that quest in the database. This is why the "Defeat Horg" errand can feel impossible: Horg the Roamer is a weekly field boss, so the errand only shows up while he is up.

Cleaner map after loading a save

Loading your save now hides your finished area quests properly. I removed markers that stacked two on the same spot and a stray one that could never be cleared, so what stays on the map is what you genuinely still have left to do.

Database maps show real icons

The small location maps on database pages now use the proper map icons instead of plain white dots.

Load your save to mark what you have done Upload your game save and the map marks everything you have already finished, so you can hide it and focus on what is left. Covers opened chests, completed minigames, collected Statue of Organa pieces and restored statues, cleared area quests and story quests, and the dungeons and trial towers you have visited. Your save is in the game's Steam folder (right-click DragonSword: Awakening → Manage → Browse local files).

Story quests and a full quest database Added a new Quests category with story quests on the map. The quest database now covers all 325 quests with their step-by-step objectives, rewards, and the chain of what each quest unlocks next.

Region names on the map The map now labels every named region and area.

Dungeon maps Most dungeon now shows its own interior map instead of a blank background.

Lorebooks and bounties Added the readable lorebook collectibles (each with its full text) and the bounty locations.

Respawn timers Gatherables, monsters and bosses now show how often they respawn, on the map tooltips and in the database. Resources every 4 hours, most monsters every 12 hours, field bosses weekly.

Live mode Cooking ingredients now show up correctly in live mode in the companion app.

Full monster database with combat stats

All 1,300+ named monsters, bosses, elites and raid bosses now have a page with attack, defense and max HP, critical rate, critical damage, critical resistance, super armor, and elemental resistances (how much fire, ice, shock, poison and bleed damage they take).

Boss stats on the map

Boss and elite markers now show the same combat stats in their tooltip, so you can check what you are up against without opening the database.

NPCs and characters

Added an NPC directory: merchants, quest-givers and named NPCs with their roles and locations. The playable characters now list their role, birthday, voice actor and recommended teammates.

Browse by category

Every database section is split into filter chips. The Bestiary sorts by tier (Raid Bosses, Bosses, Commanders, Elites and more), equipment by slot, materials by grade, recipes by cooking method, characters by element. Mount names now display in English.

Save file import (Elite Supporters)

@Elite Supporter with Preview Access can upload their save file to automatically mark the chests they have already opened, so the map only shows what is left to find. Please give me feedback and report issues! It's a experimental feature.

Filters reorganized - re-pick what you track

I rebuilt the filter panel into proper categories: Locations (Vendors, Services, Travel, Dungeons, Points of Interest), Items (Treasure Chests, Breakables) and Monsters (grouped by family). The old flat list was replaced, so open the filters and select what you want to see on the map again.

New map layers

Added Puzzles, Breakable objects, the Statue of Organa collectibles, and Area Quests (the NPCs with "..." over their head). Hidden dungeons, trial towers and rift dungeons are on the map too.

Dungeon details

Every dungeon entrance now shows its real name, and its tooltip lists the three difficulty tiers with the recommended Battle Power and reward for each.

Cooking recipes

The recipe codex now shows each dish's cooking method, ingredients and effect.

Better tooltips

Area quest markers tell you what to bring and what you get. Chests list their loot, and merchants and service NPCs are labeled by their role.
